Does My Teen Need to be Sent to Boot Camp?
Many of the sites online offer some kind of fancy check list or automatic calculator to help you decide if your teen has reached the point of no return. We believe that the parents are the best calculator, and that if you are concerned that your teen needs help, he or she probably does. As mentioned earlier parents usually find out after their child is recovering that they were a lot worse off than the parents ever imagined. Rather than offer you a fancy calculator or a check list of behaviors, if you think your child needs help, give us a call we would like to discuss their behaviors with you. We will not try to pressure you into placing your teen in a Boot Camp but rather try to help you decide if it is time to do something.
What Can I Try Before I Send My Child?
Because we are sincerely interested in seeing that you get the help you need, rather than just saying if your teen needs help send them away, here is a checklist of things you should try before you look for outside help.

Every medical deficiency should be fully explored before you consider sending a child away from home. You would hate to send your child away if they were, for example, suffering from a psychiatric problem such as bi-polar, anxiety or severe personality disorders. If this were the case, the child receives medical help and continues to act out then you should consider a more structured environment like a Boot Camp. How Do I Get My Child To The Boot Camp?
