United States Army Schedules RAD’s

Former Military Personnel Gathering

The United States Army has created some special events for those that have retired. These events have been labeled RAD’s the acronym for Retiree Appreciation Days. The events will take place in communities around the world and go from April through November. The events will last one or two days and will be help at major installations and other places around the world. The RAD’s will also include some health care screening. Screenings will include vision and blood pressure, just to mention a few.

It is estimated that there are nearly one million former military personnel that would be eligible to participate. Guest speakers from Army General headquarters will address issues like survivor benefits, retirement pay, social security, military legal aid, and health care programs.
There will also be some recreational activities to include golf and of course food.
